As you’re preparing to welcome your new baby into world, you have a lot to plan for and consider; pediatrician, sleeping arrangements, feeding, products, etc… Even before my girl arrived, I knew that I wanted to wear my baby girl. The problem I encountered was, which form of baby wearing was best for me; wrap, sling or carrier?
Before my little one arrived, I purchased the Modern Wrap knowing that I would love to wear her nice and close. I wore in the wrap to vacuum, grocery shop, and attend church. It was wonderful! The only down fall was when she reached about 3 months old and wanted see EVERYTHING. So having her against my chest, nice and snug, did not work. So I went out and purchased the Ergo Baby carrier. For me, that didn’t work as well and I think I only put her in it twice. I had a sling that I had received from a friend and while we used that a few times, but I didn’t feel like I was using it right. I personally wish I had known someone with each item that I could have tried out before purchase one or more. That way when I did purchase, I knew the features of each and what I loved most.
